Got this: 6-26-2017 "Good day, i am Mr Daniel Austin Of Manpower Group Company. Your resume posted on Christian jobs has been successfully reviewed and after due consideration you have been qualified for the position of Human Resource and selected for an interview questionnaire session and company briefing with the hiring manager, kindly notify the hiring manager Ms Linda Morris and add her up via Google hangouts (hr.lindamorris@***.com) if you are interested in undergoing an interview for the available positions.

Your verification code is ####, this would serve as your identification number throughout the online hiring procedure." Then text only from Linda Morris phone: 507-798-**** She interviewed me, hired me has HR work from home; and told me that I would be paid $40 hr + training at $35 hr. Would receive HP laptop, software and a Check to pay for it all. Wanted a direct deposit and I said, NO. I'm to start my new JOB at 8 am Wed.

June 28th!!! It's a scam and the second one with the SAME MO... as the first one! These people have a lot of nerve!

I really can't believe that there is such EVIL in this world!

But there is and they have the gall to hide behind good companies that have nothing to do with their stealing! BE careful and Aware!

Reason of review: scam.

My situation is almost identical to yours. I was told the same things & just got a check (on a Saturday) for over 3 grand.

(To buy programs to work with). I'm told to deposit it at a ATM or Teller & fax them a copy of the receipt. The letter that came with the check has NO signature nor a Company Heading! I'm definitely going to my bank with it on Monday.

But NOT to the ATM or Teller as directed. My bank has caught scams for me before. Y'all be careful.

They go by a few names. Mainly .org

I just finished a interview with them and I thought it was a little weird when I asked the HR women that I would need to give a two week notice to my current job and she didn’t even make a comment about that! Plus the whole thing about the check real brothers me soooo not going to do this!!!

Got this same email. Glad I read the reviews before I proceeded with the interview.

I knew it sounded too good to be true. Thanks to all who made these reviews.

I just go a phone call samiliar to this, and they asked me for my full name, address, and email, and which bank i have. they also said we'll mail you our a check to pay for the labtop and software i will need to work at home from a trusted company they've always purchase from.

the part that got me googling is when Lisa Brooks told me to deposit the check i will be received in the ATM, like who really thinks about depositing a check in the ATM. and why would a company that doesn't know me send me a check and ask if they can trust me. first of all, they don't know me to be sending me a check at all. Mr.

Jordan Renteria is the one who referred me to Lisa for an interview on hangout.google.com. Lisa really asked me some very hard interview questions, i really believed this was a real position. When i asked where ManPower Group was located she didn't answer me.

The interview seems a bit funny to me so i google ManPower Group scams, and ran into this page. found out ManPower Group is a temp agency, and could find anything about a work at home ligit program.

Also received an offer of employment from Manpower Group, with the terms to work from home. They would send me a check to purchase computer equipment, fax machine, etc.

My pay was to be $38 per hr., with my training to start at 8 am the next day. When they asked my full name, address and phone number, I responded "It is all on my resume." That did not set well. The interviewer said, "I require the information right now."They haven't heard from me since.

It's all a scam. And from people who are looking for jobs.

I was just scammed by the same company. They had an ad on Indeed no less. Their website is almost identical to a company of a very similar name.

I was told I was hired yesterday afternoon. I got a check for $3,986.00 today. I was wishing this was real.

My bf got sucked into this but way worse. He's been quite desperate to get out of his current job where he's not making enough at all so he went for it.

They said they would pay his debt and for him to get $2000 worth of amazon gift cards so that he can send to them to get his equipment for the work from home for manpower job. Well once he gave them those card numbers, they pulled back the payment to his credit card, sent him a fake check, and racked his credit card to $3500, putting him over his limit and stupid credit card company (don't ever use citi) closing his card...all because some heartless person wanted amazon gift cards to do who knows what! The credit card company said this wasn't fraud because he was the one that made the purchase and there is nothing they can do which I think is BS. This is so upsetting that people are getting away with this.

How can someone sleep at night for doing something like this! Don't even know what to do to try to get some justice for this.

I am currently going through the same thing. I thought the bank was supposed to protect me and they didn't.

I am so worried about facing charges I can't sleep, eat, let alone function right now.

I am so sorry and my heart and prayers go out to the vast number of victims I see here. I hope things get better for all of you

exact same happened to me just sad had me all types of excited

Getting same spiel. It is awful people prey on desperate families fighting to survive.

Very sad but dont tru discouraged. Their are good people out there.

The first clue should be the poor presentation. Grammar and syntax.

The second clue, a gmail address.

Manpower group is a very big company and anyone hiring for them will have a comany address i.e. xxxx@***.com
